After making it mandatory to link Aadhar with various essential documents such as PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Ration Card, etc. the Indian government has now required the public as well as private LPG distributors to link their Aadhar Card with their LPG Connection.
This initiative is part of Indian government's efforts to ensure transparency in the subsidy distribution and prevent misuse of benefits. By linking Aadhar with their LPG connection, customers can receive their benefits directly into their bank accounts, eliminating the need of any intermediaries. Additionally, the linking process would help to maintain a centralized database for a smoother management and better monitoring of LPG distribution.

Here are some ways to link Aadhar Card with LPG Connection :
Linking Aadhar with LPG Online
Step 1 - Visit the official site of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and fill in the required details.
Step 2 - Under the 'Benefit Type' section, select 'LPG' and choose appropriate scheme name based on your LPG distributor.
Step 3 - You will be required to choose the name of your respective LPG distributor from the given list, and submit your designated LPG consumer number.
Step 4 - You have to enter your personal details, such as mobile number, email address and Aadhar Card. After entering the required details, click on 'Submit'.
Step 5 - You will receive a One Time Password on your registered mobile number and email address. Enter the same to finish the linking process.
Step 6 - After submitting OTP, your details will be sent to authorized officials for further verification. Once your details are verified, you will receive a notification on your registered mobile number and email address.
Linking Aadhar with LPG via Offline application
Step 1 - Download the subsidy application form from your LPG distributor's official website or collect from your nearest LPG office.
Step 2 - Fill in the required details in the printed form.
Step 3 - Submit the completed form along with relevant documents at your nearest LPG distributor's office.
Linking Aadhar with LPG by Post
For those, who prefer submitting documents via post, they can download the relevant form from the official website. After filling out the necessary details, they can post it to the address mentioned in the form.
Linking Aadhar with LPG through Call Center
You can simply dial toll-free number 18000-2333-555 and connect with an operator who will guide you through the linking process.
Linking Aadhar with LPG via SMS
Individuals can complete the linking process by sending an SMS from their registered mobile number. First, ensure that your mobile number is registered with your respective LPG distributor. Then, send an SMS regarding the Aadhar linking from that registered mobile number as per the format provided by the LPG distributor.
As of now, the government has not determined any specific deadline for the linking process. However, it is advisable to link Aadhar Card with your LPG Connection to at the earliest to streamline subsidy process and combat prevent fraud claims.
