PVC Aadhaar Card: The aadhaar PVC Card is the latest form of Aadhaar introduced by UIDAI.
The Aadhaar PVC card was introduced by UIDAI last year to felicitate the cardholders, allowing them to carry the Aadhaar card with them everywhere and anywhere they want. The PVC Aadhaar card is significantly smaller, more portable, and more durable than the traditional paper cards you download or the UIDAI send you over your address mentioned on your respective Aadhaar card.
UIDAI has started reprinting Aadhaar information on PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) cards, which are close to ATM cards and can be carried around with you as you carry an ATM card. Furthermore, the PVC Aadhaar cards contain all of the information provided by you on the original Aadhaar card, including your name, address information, 12-digit Aadhaar ID, and pictures, among other things.
Aadhaar cardholders can now easily order a PVC reprint of their original Aadhaar card by visiting the official UIDAI website. The PVC Aadhaar card costs around Rs 50 charged by the UIDAI.
How to order PVC Aadaar card online in 6 easy steps:
Step 1 - Visit the official UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in
Step 2 - Go to the My Aadhaar section and click on 'Order Aadhaar PVC card'.
Step 3 - On the next page, enter your 12 digital Aadhaar card number or 16 digits virtual ID or 28 digit EID (Enrolment ID) Number.
Step 4 - Verify your details with an OTP (One-Time Password) verification
Step 5 - After OTP verification, you will be able to preview your Aadhaar PVC card
Step 6 - Pay Rs 50 fee to UIDAI on the next page to complete the Aadhaar PVC order.
The PVC Aadhaar Card will be delivered through Speed Post to your home address provided in the Aadhaar card information.
