LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: What is The Eligibility?
There is a fixed criteria related to age, income, and other aspects for women to become an LIC Bima Sakhi. The LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana applicant must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. The maximum age limit is 70 years. Educational qualification to become an LIC agent should be at least 10th standard or more. Certain individuals are not eligible, including relatives of current LIC agents or employees, retired Corporation employees, and former agents.
Certain individuals are not eligibile to apply for LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana. For example, the relatives or family members of LIC agents are not eligible for the scheme. Corporation employees also can't participate in the scheme. Additionally, former LIC agents are also ineligible for the scheme.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: How Much You Would Be Paid?
In the first year, the women applicants will receive a stipend of Rs 7,000 for a month. In the second year, they can earn around Rs 6,000 per month if they manage to keep around 65% of the policies from the first year as active.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: Application process and Required Documents
Women are required to submit photocopy of identity proof documents, and those related to educational qualifications. The ID documents include self-attested copies of age proof, address proof, and educational qualification certificates. Additionally, a recent passport-sized photograph must be uploaded along with the application.
If the policy in-force ratio falls below 65% during any given year, the agent will not qualify for that year's stipend. This condition ensures that agents maintain a high level of performance throughout their tenure.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: All About The Training And Internship
Women starting their journey to become an agent as LIC Bima Sakhi will get comprehensive training where they would be trained for additional skills like marketing, communication, promotional support, etc. They will get an exposure during the training so that they would be able to understand how to engage with potential clients and spread insurance awareness within their communities.
