Amid the second wave of COVID-19, Aadhaar Cardholders can now download their Aadhaar Card online at any time and from anywhere. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has issued a direct link - eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ - via which Aadhaar cardholders can download their 12-digit unique identity card online no matter where they are. Steps to download Aadhaar Card online using Aadhaar number

The UIDAI recently announced the Aadhaar download service in a video tweet from its official Twitter account. In its tweet, UIDAI has stated that "Download your Aadhaar from https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in anytime anywhere. You can choose to download 'Regular Aadhaar' that displays the complete Aadhaar number or 'Masked Aadhaar' which shows only the last four digits." To download your Aadhaar Card online, follow the steps below:

• Visit eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and under the 'Download electronic copy of your Aadhaar' section, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number by selecting the Aadhaar Number as your reference.
• Now select the 'I want a masked Aadhaar?' and enter the CAPTCHA code.
• Now click on 'Send OTP' and you will receive a one time password on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• Enter the received OTP and upon successful authentication of the OTP you can the PDF version of your download by clicking on 'Download Aadhaar'.
• By inputting the first four letters of your name and the year of your birth, you can unlock the password-protected masked Aadhaar card.

Steps to download Aadhaar Card online using Enrolment ID

To download your Aadhaar Card online using Enrolment ID, follow the steps below:

• Visit https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and under the 'Download Aadhaar' section, select 'Enrolment ID' as your preference and enter 14 digit ENO and 14 digit Date-Time stamp printed on the Enrolment Slip.
• Now tick at the 'I want a masked Aadhaar?' and enter the CAPTCHA code.
• Click on 'Send OTP' and you will get a one time password on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• Verify the OTP and click on the "Download Aadhaar" option.

Steps to download Aadhaar Card online using VID Number

Follow the procedures below to get your Aadhaar card by entering the virtual ID online:

• Visit https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and under the 'Download Aadhaar' section, select 'Virtual ID (VID)' as your preference.
• Enter your '16 Digit VID Number' and tick at the 'I want a masked Aadhaar?' box.
• Now enter the CAPTCHA code and click on "Send OTP" to generate OTP.
• Upon successfull authentication of your entered details, you can download the PDF version of your Aadhaar Card by clicking on the "Download Aadhaar" option.
• By entering the first four letters of your name in CAPITALS and date of birth as a password, you can successfully open your Aadhaar Card.
