NACDAC Infrastructure made a stellar debut on the stock exchanges with its shares listing at Rs 66.5 on the BSE SME platform, reflecting a premium of 90% over its issue price of Rs 35 per share. The demand for NACDAC Infrastructure's initial public offering (IPO) and a strong grey market premium (GMP) ahead of listing contributed to this impressive start.
The grey market premium (GMP), which stood at Rs 50 per share, indicated a potential listing premium of 142%, setting expectations for multibagger returns. While the actual listing at Rs 66.5 slightly undercut the GMP forecast, the 90% premium still delivered strong gains for early investors.

Details of the IPO
The NACDAC Infrastructure IPO opened for subscription on December 17 and closed on December 19. The IPO allotment was finalized on December 20, and shares were listed on the BSE SME today, December 24. The offering comprised a fresh issue of 28.60 lakh equity shares, entirely raising Rs 10.01 crore.
With a price band set at Rs 33 to Rs 35 per share, the IPO aimed to utilize the proceeds for working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes.
Subscription Details
The IPO received an overwhelming response from investors across all categories, with a total subscription of 2,209.76 times. Retail Investors subscribed 2,503.66 times, Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) subscribed 4,084.46 times, and Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) subscribed 236.39 times.
The IPO garnered bids for over 411 crore shares worth Rs 14,385 crore, against an offering of just 18.60 lakh shares. This resulted in an oversubscription, making NACDAC Infrastructure one of the most sought-after SME IPOs in recent times.
The strong listing and oversubscription can be attributed to several factors like strong business fundamentals, market sentiment, and IPO management.
Company Overview
NACDAC Infrastructure operates in the construction sector, a domain poised for growth amidst increasing urbanization and infrastructure development. The company plans to use the proceeds from the IPO to strengthen its working capital and explore growth opportunities.
The strong debut of NACDAC Infrastructure reflects a combination of investor optimism, sound business fundamentals, and efficient IPO management. For early investors, the listing day gains have reaffirmed the strength of SME IPOs as a lucrative investment avenue.
