Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of the Pune-based company said to CNBC TV18 in an interview that the company sold 2.10 lakh units of motorcycles in the domestic market, which includes 81,000 units of Pulsar.

Airing his views on the export incentive scheme, Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB), Bajaj said that the company will increase prices of its vehicles if this scheme is withdrawn. He further added that there is still hope for some level of leniency of the scheme.

Bajaj Auto limited recorded its highest ever exports for June at 1,42,124 units compared to 1,14,024 units in June 2010, a growth of 24.64 per cent.

The company also witnessed its best figures for June in the three-wheeler segment during last month at 43,830 units as against 32,614 units in the same month last year, registering a jump of 34.39 per cent.

Total vehicle sales of the company in last month stood at 3,66,657 units compared to 3,15,422 units in the same period a year ago, a growth of 16.24 per cent, the statement said.

Going forward, Bajaj expects to achieve 4 lakh run-rate per month in the second quarter of FY12 and 20% volume growth for the entire fiscal.
