Hindustan Petroleum has posted a net profit of Rs 318.92 crores for the quarter ending Sept 30, 2013, as against a loss of Rs 146 crores reported in the previous quarter of the current year.
Total Income has increased to Rs 51,860 crores, as against Rs 51,763 crores reported in the last quarter.
The stock of Hindustan Petroleum gained 2 per cent at Rs 215 on the National Stock Exchange.
