Rupee Hits Lowest Level Since Jan 8; Trades At 63.15 To The Dollar

The rupee dropped a huge 24 paise and fell for the third straight session as aggressive dollar demand by foreign funds pushed the currency lower.
The currency was last trading at Rs 63.13 to the dollar, a level not seen since Jan 2015.

Weakish sentiments prevailing in the equity markets for the last few trading sessions had its impact on the currency market.
Dealers say the currency could dip a little more as foreign funds continued to sell in the Indian stock markets.
