Yes Bank, fifth-largest private sector bank, has announced changes in the interest rate for savings bank account customers.

Now, the savings account will fetch 6 per cent from 7 per cent, earlier. The new rates are applicable from November 1, 2015.

The interest rates for residents and non-residents savings account has been revised from 7 per cent tp 6 per cent, the bank said in the press release.

Yes Bank today leverages its 700 plus branch network, over 1300 ATMs, a wide range of offerings and a strong digital presence with growing emphasis on retail banking customers, it said.

Shares of the bank were seen trading at Rs 761.65, lower by 1.10 per cent on BSE at 12.54 pm IST. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 757 during the trade.
