The key domestic benchmark indices ended the trade in negative zone on profit booking.

The 30-share benchmark index ended trade at 27166.87, lower by 111.89 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 8335.95, down by 34.75 points.

On the global front, Asian peers ended the day on a mixed note, while European counters were hovering in red.
