Shares in Oberoi Realty surged to a hit 52-week high on Monday after the company reported a good set of numbers for the first quarter ending June 30, 2016.

Oberoi Realty ended trade at Rs 313.90 higher by 5.37 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs 322.40 during trade.

Shares of ILandFS Engineering and Construction Company surged as its joint venture company (JV) has received transmission line works in Gujarat.

ILandFS Engineering and Construction Company ended trade at Rs 49.60 higher by 5.75 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 54 during trade.

Shares of Welspun India slumped 20 per cent and locked in lower circuit after Bloomberg reported that the company is ending all business with the textile manufacturers, after saying the supplier was sending it phony Egyptian cotton sheets.

Welspun India shares ended trade at Rs 82.30 lower by 20 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 82.30 during trade.

Aviation Stocks

Aviation stocks were seen trading higher on Monday on media reports that domestic air passenger traffic jumped by nearly 26% in July.

Share price of Alankit rose on Monday after the company said that it is going to consider bonus issue and stock split.

Alankit ended trade at Rs 137.40 higher by 6.80 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 141 during trade.
