Key domestic benchmark indices ended lower on Thursday. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade lower by 114.77 points to end at 28,106.21; Nifty ends at 8,709.55 down by 34.40 points.

L&T Technology shares ended trade at Rs 2834, higher by 1.10 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 842 during trade.

Shares of Jaiprakash Power rose more than 10 per cent on Thursday after the company said that its board is going to consider restructuring of its business.

Jaiprakash Power shares ended trade at Rs 4.56, higher by 10.14 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 4.70 during trade.

Shares of Vedanta rose after the company's board approved to raise Rs 1250 crore via non- convertible debentures.

Vedanta shares ended trade at Rs 197, higher by 3.026 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high of Rs 201 during trade.

Shares of Philips Carbon Black rose after the board of the company approved amalgamation of unit, Goodluck Dealcom with company.

Phillips Carbon shares ended trade at Rs 274.40, higher by 1.72 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high of Rs 281 during trade.

Shares of state run-Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) jumped after the company fixed October 19, 2016 as the record date for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for issuance of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1.

IOC shares ended trade at Rs 650, higher by 5.61 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high of Rs 658 during trade.
