Key domestic benchmark indices ended lower on Tuesday. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade lower by 514.19 points to end at 26,304.63 ; Nifty ends at 8108.45 down by 187.85 points.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) reported net profit lower by 66.6 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 701.3 crore due to weak operational performance.

HPCL shares ended trade at Rs 444.60, lower by 0.87 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 403 during trade.

Shares in Tata Motors fell a huge 7 per cent, as results of the company lagged estimates.
Shares ended trade at Rs 462, lower by 9.93 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 451 during trade.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) shares fell on reports that the foreign investors may have offloaded shares.

Shares ended trade at Rs 1,225, lower by 3.64 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 1,201 during trade.

Shares of Bank of Baroda rose more than 9 per cent on Tuesday after the bank reported net profit at Rs 552.1 crore against Rs 124.5 crore (YoY).

Bank of Baroda shares ended trade at Rs 173, higher by 7.97per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 177 during trade.

Shares of Suzlon Energy rose 6 per cent on Tuesday after the company reported net profit at Rs 237.6 Crore against loss Of Rs 201.7 Crore year on year.

Shares ended trade at Rs 15.31, higher by 5.15 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 16.15 during trade.
