Shares of PNB Gilts zoomed 10 per cent after the company reported nearly three-fold jump in net profit at Rs 70.14 crore for Q2FY17, compared to Rs 24.78 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

PNB Gilts shares ended trade at Rs 51.30, higher by 9.97 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs 51.30 during trade.

Shares of Unitech tanked after media reported that HDFC sold the real estate company's outstanding loan to JM Financial Asset Reconstruction Company (JMFARC).

Unitech shares ended trade at Rs 4.90, lower by 1.87 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 4.10 during trade.

Shares of Shree Cement rose after media reported that the company has expressed interest to buy a majority stake in Odisha-based Shiva Cement.

Shree Cement shares ended trade at Rs 14,898, higher by 3.80 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 15,052 during trade.
