November 24 is the last chance to use old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes.
November 24 is the last day to use the demonized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes at public utilities. After banning the notes on November 8, the government extended the use of old notes at public utilities such as government hospitals, milk booths, power and water bills, LPG gas cylinders, booking airline tickets at the airport, petrol pumps, railway ticketing for the next few days.
