The GST Council headed by Finance Minister and State Finance Minister as its members will have their 21st meeting at Hyderabad on Saturday.

Other than the GST tax filing woes and cess on luxury cars and other goods which have seen as raise under GST, Telangana government shall put forward its concerns. From earlier issues pertaining to tax slab reduction on some of the goods and services to other such as reduction of tax implication on government backed projects.

"Our (Telangana) government is going to raise the issue of tax concession for government projects, besides other subjects such as concession for beedi and granite industries, among others", Somesh Kumar, state principal secretary (revenue) said.

It shall be the Council's 21 meet since its inception in September last year and third meet since the nationwide implementation of GST.

GST, a novel indirect taxation regime subsumed as many as a dozen indirect taxes and levies.
