An Economic Survey of India is the annual document presented by the Finance Ministry of India reviewing the developments made in the country's economy over the past 12 months. This will be a precursor to the Budget 2018-19 that will be announced on Thursday.

Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian tweeted today announcing an official website that is dedicated just to the survey and will be open for public view after the survey is tabled in the afternoon today at the parliament.

Subramanian will be presenting the highlights if the survey in a press conference at 1:30 pm today.

The survey will also be summarising the performance of major development programs and policy initiatives of the government like demonetization, GST, and Digital India Initiative.
