ICICI Bank reported a decline in third-quarter 2018's net profit by 32 percent at Rs 1,650 crore against Rs 2,442 crore reported during the same quarter during last year.

The Net interest income was reported at Rs 5,705 crore for the third quarter ending on December 31, 2017.

The net NPAs dropped to Rs 23,810 crore as against Rs 24,129 crore quarter on quarter basis.

The provisions declined to Rs 3,569.6 crore as against Rs 4,502.9 crore quarter on quarter basis.

The Gross bad loans as a percentage of total loans stood at 7.82 percent as on December 31, 2017, against 7.87 percent as on September 30, 2017, and at 7.20 percent a year earlier.
