Stock, bond and currency markets are closed today on account of Mahashivratri. On Wednesday, the markets will reopen which closed higher on Monday with the Nifty scaling to 10,539.75, higher by 0.81% while the Sensex closed higher by 0.87% at 34,300.47.
The benchmark bond yield traded higher by 1 basis points at 7.5%. Also the rupee currency traded higher against its earlier close of 64.39 to trade at 64.3050.
