Electricity Tariffs Slashed in Delhi by up to 32%
Electricity tariffs in the city of Delhi for consumers across all categories has been reduced by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission by upto 32%.
Electricity tariffs in the city of Delhi for consumers across all categories has been reduced by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission by upto 32%.

The tariff order is applicable for the year 2018-19. The commission has reduced the prices to by Re 1 per unit to Rs 3 for the domestic power consumption of upto 200 units per month. For those consuming between 200 to 400 units of electricity per month, it will be Rs 1.45 per unit lesser at Rs 4.50 per unit. 401 to 800 units consumption will be charged Rs 6.5 per unit compared to Rs 7.30 per unit before.
The tariffs for non-domestic and industrial categories have also been reduced. The fixed charges are however have been substantially raised across all categories.
