Indian carrier Indigo's parent company InterGlobe Aviation said on Friday that its president Aditya Ghosh would step down from his position with effect from July 31, 2018. He has been with Indigo for 10 years.
InterGlobe's chairman Rahul Bhatia will act as the interim CEO for Indigo, the company said in a statement.
The airline is considering naming Gregory Taylor, a senior veteran in the airline industry as its president and chief executive officer (CEO) in the coming months. The decision is yet to be approved. Taylor has worked as the executive vice president of Indigo's revenue management and network in 2016-17.
He will now work as the senior advisor for the company reporting directly to Bhatia. He has also worked in senior management roles at United Airlines and US Airways in areas like corporate strategy and network planning. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Indigo's head of communication Ajay Jasra has also resigned.
