Adani Transmission, part of the Adani Group, a globally integrated infrastructure player today announced the appointment of Mr. Anil Sardana as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Adani Transmission Ltd. with effect from May 1, 2018.

Mr. Anil Sardana comes with over three decades of experience in the power and infrastructure sector. He started his career with NTPC and subsequently worked with BSES and Tata Group companies in the power and Infra sector, ranging from generation, power systems design, power distribution, Telecom and project management.
Prior to joining the Adani Group, he was the MD & CEO of Tata Power Group based out of Mumbai.
Speaking on the appointment, Mr. Gautam Adani, Chairman, Adani Group said, "We welcome Mr. Anil Sardana to the Adani Family. He joins us at a very critical phase when the company has recently entered the power distribution space with the acquisition of the Mumbai GTD business. Mr. Sardana comes with a vast experience in the Power sector will play an important role in taking our Transmission business to new heights.
