The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced that passengers can now book air tickets, both the domestic and international flight tickets at a nominal fee of Rs 59 through its flight booking website and app.

A tweet posted by IRCTC states that customers can directly log on to the IRCTC air website (www.air.ircti.co.in) or can either download IRCTC air app from google play store and book flight tickets for travel both within India and abroad.

The app also gives an option for the users to quickly cancel the booked tickets and get the refund amount.

Currently, there are no hidden charges applicable for booking flight tickets using IRCTC air website and its app.

IRCTC air app offers savings on booking flight tickets which is applicable for every segment. Apart from this it also provides round the clock customer care support and answers queries, issues and problems faced by the customers. As per the IRCTC's website, customers can contact the support center by calling toll free number: 1800110139 or can send an e-mail to flights@irctc.co.in.

Customers can choose from an array of 50 plus payment options to book flight tickets via online.

Leave Travel Concession (LTC) fares are also available for flight bookings on both the website and app, IRCTC mentioned in its tweet.
