As the newly introduced HDFC Bank app failed, the private sector lender has restored its older app such that its customers no longer face any hassles. The older version of HDFC Bank mobile app is now available for download for both Apple iOS and Android users.

On Tuesday, the bank in a statement said, , "We are restoring the old Mobilebanking app in the App Store and Playstore. This is to prevent inconvenience to customers...Customers who are already using the old app can continue to do so without having to download it afresh."

In the earlier instance, the bank has taken down its app as it was not functioning smoothly across servers. The bank's mobile banking app caters to customers and help them access their savings account, deposits, demat, debit and credit cards at the click of a button

On the sidelines, the bank also informed for the new app, the bank will need some more time to fix the different confronted issues and glitches.

Furthermore, now soon you will not be able to avail the different banking services available for free until now as banks are planning to charge the cost to customers as GST charges.
