Fuel Price Rise For Fourth Straight Day As Crude Oil Surges In Price
Fuel rates have surged for the fourth straight day on Saturday on the back of surge in crude oil price that got a boost from the comments of US Federal Reserve Chairman. But the gains have been capped as positive expectations around the US-China trade talks receded.

In the national capital, petrol surged by 19 paise to Rs. 69.26 per litre while diesel also increased in price to Rs. 63.10 per litre.
In Mumbai, petrol and diesel are being sold at Rs 74.91 and Rs 66.04 per litre respectively on Saturday with a rise of 10 paise and 31 paise, respectively.
Petroleum and natural gas minister, Dharmendra Pradhan in an earlier instance, attributed the increase in fuel price, to the depreciation in Indian currency against the dollar.
