Hathway Cable, DEN Shares Climb On RIL's Jio GigaFiber Broadband Offering
In intra-day trade on Wednesday, shares of Hathway Cable and Datacom Ltd and Den Networks Ltd surged by as much as 15.6% and 7%, respectively. This is after RIL in its AGM on Monday announced the commercial launch of its Gigafiber broadband services in association with Microsoft.

As part of Jio Gigafiber broadband services, the users will gain access to fixed line telephone calling, television channels and video conferencing at a starting price of Rs. 700.
RIL has a 51.3% and 66% stake in Hathway Cable and Den Networks, respectively.
Also, Nifty Media with gains of 2% is the biggest gainer among sectoral indices today while Nifty pharma was the only sectoral loser.
