Forbes released the 10 richest billionaires list today and amid record IPO fund raising, number of richest people in India also climbed to 166 from last year. Also their total wealth hit $750 billion, jumping 26% in comparison to the previous year.

The list has been topped by none other than RIL's Chairman with wealth aggregating to $90.7 billion. Also, the 3 top richest persons continue to be the same as last year. Ambani running a conglomerate tops as the richest person in Asia and ranks 10th on the global chart.
Thereafter follows, Gautam Adani who during the time added $40 billion to his wealth and became Asia's second richest person. Both the persons are aggresively foraying in the green energy space and have planned huge investment.
On the third spot, Shiv Nadar ranks who added wealth by 22%.
Meanwhile, others on the list are Cyrus Poonawalla, Radhakishan Damani, Lakshmi Mittal, Savitri Jindal, Kumar Birla and Dilip Shanghvi and Uday Kotak.
