Total income for the quarter also increased to Rs 7,283 crore, up from Rs 6,937 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full financial year, LIC Housing Finance posted a 14% rise in net profit, growing from Rs 4,765 crore in FY24 to Rs 5,429 crore in FY25, as per its regulatory filing on Thursday.

The market's response to the company's performance and dividend declaration has been dynamic. On May 16, LIC Housing Finance Ltd. (NSE: LICHSGFIN) closed at Rs 620.15, marking a decline of 0.77% or Rs 4.80 from the previous day's close.
During the trading session on Friday after the announcement of Q4 results, the LIC stock opened at Rs 634.00, touched an intraday high of Rs 635.00, and dipped to a low of Rs 608.35. This followed a positive movement the previous day, where the share price closed at Rs 624.90, up 1.31% or Rs 8.10 from the earlier close of Rs 616.80. Intraday volumes also remained strong, with 1.54 lakh shares traded-well above the two-week average of 0.49 lakh shares.
Despite the minor pullback on May 16, the scrip has exhibited notable resilience and upward momentum in recent times, having advanced approximately 8% over the past week and registering a 17.18% gain over the last three months.
The company's market capitalisation, as per NSE data, stood at Rs 34,110 crore. With a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 6.62 and a dividend yield of 1.45%, LIC Housing Finance continues to present a compelling investment case. The stock's 52-week range extends from a low of Rs 483.70 to a high of Rs 826.75, reflecting considerable investor interest and trading activity throughout the year.
