As the flights or airline services remain suspended with the extension in lockdown to May 3, airlines across the board have announced that they would not refund against the booked ticket in cash but will allow rescheduling of the flight at a later date with no additional fee.

In the first lockdown imposed since March 25, all domestic and international flights remained suspended.
Nonetheless, assuming lifting of the lockdown most airlines resumed booking service from April 15 barring Air India.
"Following orders from the Ministry of Civil Aviation issued to all airlines, we have extended the suspension of our operations until May 3, 2020.
"We are in the process of cancelling the affected bookings and we will offer customers free of charge rescheduling to another date until December 31, 2020," a Vistara spokesperson told PTI in statement.
Nonetheless for the rebooked flight, any additional fare will have to be borne by the air flyer.
Similarly, GoAir said that it will protect its current bookings for one year's time and will review its decision of rescheduling option for flights at no extra cost.
In an earlier case, Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation or CAPA labeled the sale of air tickets with no clarity on lockdown as "unfair to consumers".
