Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will dedicate IFFCO’s SAP-III sulphuric acid plant at Paradip and then launch Odisha cooperative initiatives in Bhubaneswar. The programme includes the State Cooperative Policy, MoUs for Tribhuvan Cooperative University and Badamba Sugar Industries, PACS Common Service Centres, and new digital portals, alongside OMFED dairy programmes.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Friday will attend events in Odisha. Amit Shah will dedicate IFFCO's Sulphuric Acid Plant at Paradip. Amit Shah will also launch several cooperative and dairy sector measures in Bhubaneswar. A statement said the programmes link to wider plans for the cooperative system.

Amit Shah will first travel to Paradip to dedicate SAP-III. SAP-III is the third Sulphuric Acid Plant at IFFCO's site. After that, Amit Shah will go to the IDCO Exhibition Ground. The venue is in Unit-III of Bhubaneswar. More launches will take place there, the statement added.
Cooperative sector initiatives by Amit Shah in Bhubaneswar
In Bhubaneswar, Amit Shah will release Odisha's State Cooperative Policy. Amit Shah will also oversee MoU signings for two plans. One is a school under Tribhuvan Cooperative University. The other is the revival of Badamba Sugar Industries, the statement said.
Amit Shah will dedicate 1,567 Common Service Centres run by PACS and LAMPS. PACS stands for Primary Agricultural Credit Societies. LAMPS refers to Large-sized Agricultural Multi-Purpose Societies. Amit Shah will also virtually inaugurate infrastructure for 141 PACS. The facilities are described as need-based.
Digital cooperative sector launches by Amit Shah
Several digital services will be launched during the visit. These include the RCS Office Portal. Amit Shah will also launch the Direct-to-Consumer portal of National Cooperative Organics Ltd. Coop Marque by National Cooperative Exports Ltd is also listed. Another launch is Savidya, an AI-enabled multilingual learning platform.
Dairy sector and OMFED projects by Amit Shah
Programmes linked to OMFED will be included in the schedule. An MoU with the National Dairy Development Board will be signed. It is for upgrading a Training and Demonstration Centre. Registration certificates will be given to two milk producer cooperative societies. Grants under the Chief Minister Kamdhenu Yojana will also be released.
The statement said the visit includes many project announcements. A total of 69 projects worth Rs 1,159.03 crore will be inaugurated. Foundation stones of 130 projects worth Rs 2,116.06 crore will be laid. The events are part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Sahkar se Samriddhi initiative. It aims to strengthen the cooperative sector.
