Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has outlined ambitious economic goals for Andhra Pradesh. He stated that a 15% annual growth rate is crucial for reaching a GSDP of USD 2.74 trillion by 2047. During a press conference at the CM's Office, Naidu highlighted the importance of maintaining this growth rate to achieve a GSDP of Rs 347 lakh crore and a per capita income of Rs 58 lakh by 2047.

"If the state’s income increases, personal income will also rise. The combined wealth of everyone in the state becomes the state’s wealth. Now, I am planning for a 15 per cent growth rate, which will lead to a GSDP of Rs 347 lakh crore by 2047 and a per capita income of Rs 58 lakh. Today, the per capita income is Rs 2.68 lakh," said Naidu.
Economic Growth and Development Plans
Naidu stressed that doubling the growth rate could quadruple income levels. He believes development is essential to meet these targets and realise the vision of Swarna Andhra 2047. The Chief Minister has introduced between 20 to 25 policies aimed at fostering growth and ensuring effective execution by placing suitable individuals in key roles.
According to Naidu, achieving these economic milestones requires strategic planning and consistent efforts. He emphasised that the state's wealth is directly linked to the collective prosperity of its residents. By focusing on sustainable development, Andhra Pradesh aims to enhance both state and personal incomes significantly over the next two decades.
The Chief Minister's vision includes not only economic growth but also improving the quality of life for citizens. By implementing comprehensive policies, he aims to create an environment conducive to prosperity and innovation. This approach is expected to drive Andhra Pradesh towards becoming a leading economic powerhouse by 2047.
Naidu's plans reflect his commitment to transforming Andhra Pradesh into a model state with robust economic foundations. His focus on strategic policy-making and effective governance underscores his dedication to achieving long-term growth objectives.
