Anmol Industries Limited, a packaged food company, announced its goal to reach a turnover of Rs 5,000 crore within five years. Currently, the company has a turnover of Rs 1,600 crore and aims to increase this to Rs 2,000 crore by the next financial year.

"Our current focus revolves around innovation, leveraging new technologies, and consistently introducing products that resonate with our customers' evolving preferences. These elements are pivotal as we aim to achieve our ambitious target of Rs 5,000 crore within the next five years," said Aman Choudhary, Executive Director Marketing at Anmol Industries Limited.
Manufacturing Expansion
The company has recently invested Rs 200 crore in a new manufacturing facility in Thakurganj, Bihar. This plant will boost production capacity by adding 8,000 metric tonnes per month. Enhancing manufacturing capabilities is integral to achieving their growth targets.
Anmol Industries offers a range of products including biscuits, cookies, rusks, chocolate wafers, and cakes. The company holds the second position in the biscuit segment in key markets such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. It also has a strong presence in Jharkhand, Bengal, and Odisha.
Market Position and Global Presence
Beyond domestic markets, Anmol Industries has established a robust global presence through exports. Over 30 unique varieties of Anmol biscuits are distributed to more than 30 countries worldwide. The company aims to strengthen its market position further in UP and Bihar to achieve the number one spot soon.
Choudhary noted an evolving customer trend where rural customers are becoming similar to urban ones. "In terms of our product portfolio, we are moving towards categories that are slightly more indulgent," he said.
New Product Launches
Anmol Industries has recently introduced Crunchy, a new choco wafer product. Additionally, they have launched chocolate-coated cake products and are optimistic about gaining market traction in the indulgent biscuit and snacking categories.
"As part of our growth strategy, we will continue to optimize our product offerings to meet shifting consumer preferences from generic to specialized and from essential to discretionary items. We also see significant potential in emerging channels like modern trade and e-commerce, which allow us to interact directly with our consumers," Choudhary stated.
The next five years mark an evolving customer trend where rural customers are becoming similar to urban ones. Anmol Industries is adapting by moving towards more indulgent product categories. The company remains focused on innovation and leveraging new technologies to meet these changing preferences.
Anmol Industries is committed to enhancing its manufacturing capabilities and expanding its product range. With a strong foothold in key domestic markets and a robust global presence, the company is well-positioned for growth. The new manufacturing facility in Thakurganj will significantly boost production capacity.
