Apple is set to offer Made-in-India iPhones for the first time on launch day. There is a possibility that the new iPhone model consumers will purchase on launch day was manufactured in India.
According to sources cited by Bloomberg, Apple Inc. intends to release the iPhone 15, which is currently being produced in India, in the South Asian nation. All other phones, excluding the iPhones built in India, will be imported from China.

Tuesday's highly anticipated event at Apple's US headquarters is scheduled to unveil the iPhone 15 and updated watches and AirPods. Sales of new products typically start about 10 days after their introduction.
Sales of iPhones created in-country will emphasise India's expanding production capacity and Apple's departure from its prior policy of offering smartphones made in China to its customers all over the world.
The action is viewed as Apple's attempt to put its China+1 plan into action. The iPhone manufacturer is making an effort to close the gap between its operations in India and its primary manufacturing facilities in China. Of particular note, the iPhone 15 is anticipated to be the most substantial update to the handset in the past three years.
According to Bloomberg, there may be small delays with devices made in India if unanticipated logistics obstacles arise. Apple has not yet issued an official statement about the news.
The assembly of the iPhone 14 sets in India took almost nine months longer than the Chinese sets' timeline. The gap, nevertheless, was drastically narrowed to just a few weeks in 2022. By the end of March, 7% of Apple's total production of iPhones was produced in India.
The first Apple stores in India recently opened. Apple stated without providing specific figures that iPhone sales in India increased at a new high for the quarter ending in June.
