Apple will open its new store in Pune on September 4, marking a significant expansion in India. Customers can explore products and attend free sessions to enhance their skills.
Apple has announced the opening of a new store in Pune, scheduled for September 4. This expansion is part of Apple's strategy to enhance its presence in India, offering customers in Pune the opportunity to explore and purchase Apple products and services directly. The announcement follows plans to open another store in Bengaluru on September 2.

The new stores in Pune and Bengaluru will allow customers to engage with Apple's latest products and features. They will also provide expert support from specialists, creatives, and business teams. Additionally, customers can participate in Today at Apple sessions, which are designed to inspire and educate users through free events led by Apple Creatives.
Apple's Global Growth and Revenue Records
Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, highlighted the company's growth during the Q3 FY2025 earnings call. He noted that iPhone sales increased across all geographic segments, with significant growth in emerging markets like India, the Middle East, South Asia, and Brazil. The company achieved revenue records in over two dozen markets during the June quarter.
In the June quarter, Apple reported a revenue of USD 94.04 billion, marking a 10% increase year-on-year. This exceeded Wall Street expectations. The net profit for the same period was USD 23.42 billion, reflecting a 9.2% rise compared to the previous year.
Impact of Tariffs on Apple's Costs
Tim Cook also addressed the evolving tariff situation during the earnings call. For the June quarter, Apple incurred approximately USD 800 million in tariff-related costs. Looking ahead to the September quarter, assuming no changes in global tariff rates or policies, these costs are estimated to increase by about USD 1.1 billion.
Cook cautioned that this estimate should not be used for future projections due to potential changes in tariff rates and other factors. Despite these challenges, Apple's growth remains strong across various product lines including iPhone, Mac, and services.
The Cupertino-based company continues to expand its global footprint with plans for new stores in India and the UAE later this year. This expansion aligns with Apple's strategy to strengthen its presence in emerging markets while navigating challenges such as tariffs.
