REC Limited, formerly known as Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, is a public sector organization in India that focuses mostly on funding and promoting power projects around the country. The Board of Directors considered and approved "Declaration of 1st interim dividend @ Rs 4.60/- (Rupees Four and Paise Sixty only) per equity share of Rs 10/ - each for the financial year 2025-26. Further, the record date for reckoning eligibility of shareholders for the purpose of payment of said interim dividend is Friday, August 1, 2025 and the said interim dividend shall be paid / dispatched on or before August 21, 2025 to those shareholders, whose names appear (i) as beneficial owners in the statement(s) furnished by the depository(ies) as on the close of business hours on August 1, 2025 in respect of shares held in electronic form; and (ii) as members in the register of members on August 1, 2025 in respect of physical shares," said REC in a stock exchange filing.
REC Q1 Results
In Q1FY26, the consolidated net profit increased 29% to Rs 4,465.71 crore from Rs 3,460.19 crore in the same quarter last year. REC reported consolidated revenue of Rs 14,731.45 crore in Q1FY26. Compared to Rs 13,078.66 crore in Q1FY25, this is a 12.6% growth. As of June 30, 2025, REC's consolidated net worth was Rs 80,440.44 crore, a significant increase over the Rs 72,936.19 crore it had in the same quarter the previous year.
REC Target Price
"REC Ltd remains in a strong uptrend, consistently forming higher highs with rising volume support. The stock is holding well above the ₹390 support zone, and a breakout above ₹410 could lead to a swift move toward ₹430-₹440 in the near term. Technical indicators like RSI are comfortably placed in bullish territory, signaling continued momentum. Traders may look to buy on dips near ₹398-₹400 with a stop-loss at ₹388 for short-term upside," commented Riyank Arora, technical analyst at Mehta Equities.
