BEL Share Price Today: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) shares were trading higher on Monday, September 29, after reports of its big order win. The defence PSU has bagged a major order for delivering 'Anant Shastra' surface to air missile weapon systems to the Indian Army, reported ANI.
BEL share price today was trading 2.78% higher at Rs 406.9 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,97,434.90 crore at 10:20 am. BEL shares opened at Rs 403.7 per share and touched an intraday high mark of Rs 407.2 per share.

BEL Share Price Outlook
The Indian Army's order to BEL for the QRSAM project, also known as Anant Shastra, will boost the defence PSU's order book and its business prospects for the coming months, according to brokerage Motilal Oswal. With the new order for Anant Shastra missiles, BEL's order book stands at more than Rs 1 trillion.
"Along with this order, we also expect BHE to benefit from orders for next-generation corvettes, electronics warfare, follow-on orders for electronics for 97 Tejas Mk1A, loitering munition programs, and export opportunities," noted Motilal Oswal in its report.
BEL Share Price Target
The brokerage has issued a target price of Rs 490 per share, indicating a strong 24% upside in its valuation. "BHE is currently trading at 48.2x/40.3x/33.8x on FY26E/FY27E/FY28E EPS. We maintain our BUY rating and two-year forward TP of INR490, based on 45x Sep'27E earnings," stated the brokerage in its report on Monday.
BEL Share Price Today: What Are The Key Risks?
The company business is at risk because of slowdown in order inflows from the defense and non-defense segments. Its business prospects can also suffer because of intensified competition, further delays in the finalisation of large tenders and a sharp rise in commodity prices. Delay in payments from the Ministry of Defence can also impact the company business.
BEL Order Win Of Anant Shastra
The Indian Army has issued a tender to buy five to six regiments of Anant Shastra surface to air missile weapon systems. The tender has been issued by the Indian Army to the state-owned BEL to buy the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
The project, estimated to cost around Rs 30,000 crore, would strengthen the Indian Army's Army Air Defence, which played a crucial role in thwarting Pakistani drone attacks during Operation Sindoor, sources told ANI.
