A 15-day-long scheduled power outage has been announced in Bengaluru by Bescom. The electricity board, in its recent Twitter post, has confirmed maintenance-related electricity disruptions across multiple areas from September 18 to 30th, advising residents to prepare for the Bengaluru power cuts, which are being carried out for the maintenance purposes of the essential HT line under the B-1 Division to ensure there's an uninterrupted power supply in the city.

List of All the Areas Affected By Bengaluru Power Cut
September 18:
Today, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the power supply will be affected in parts of the city, including Yeshwanthpur, Frazer Town, Ulsoor, Malleswaram, Gandhinagar, Attiguppe, Malleshwaram, Chamarajpet, Lingarajpuram, and other surrounding areas.
September 19:
Yeshwanthpur, Frazer Town, Ulsoor, Malleswaram, Gandhinagar, Attiguppe, Chamarajpet, and Lingarajpuram will face electricity interruptions. Similarly, Kempapura, Vinayaka Nagar, Trinity, Baiyappanahalli, Shanthinagar, Jayamahal, Aluva, Marathahalli, Kogilu, BDA Layout, Bagalur Cross, Venkateshpalya, Netaji Layout, Rajajinagar, Palacenagar, and Doddakalasandra will experience power cuts in Bengaluru from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on September 18 and 19.
On September 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30
Electricity supply will be affected from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in areas including Hanumanthapura, Attur, Jaganathapura, Nivara, Lebbet, Agninagara, B.V. Gudipala, and Ambedkar Nagar.
Residents of B.B. Palya, Hosahalli, Gubbi Gate, Ring Road, Harohalli, Honnemanahalli, Hebbala, Kuppuru, D.M. Palya, PNR Palya, Narsapura, K.G. Palya, Bhajantri Palya, and surrounding localities should expect planned power cuts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Namadhari, Hegde Nagar, Ugrahalli, Mayaganahalli, M.B. Layout, B.C. Layout, Kanchana Layout, Padarhalli, Channasandra, and Madanapura will face planned Bengaluru power cuts from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM as part of ongoing maintenance work.
September 21, 23, 25, 27, and 29
The following areas will see Bengaluru power cuts from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM: B.B. Palya, Hosahalli, Gubbi Gate, Ring Road, Harohalli, Honnemanahalli, Hebbala, Kuppuru, D.M. Palya, PNR Palya, Narsapura, K.G. Palya, Bhajantri Palya, and surrounding localities.
Advisory for Residents During Bengaluru Power Cuts
These Bengaluru POWs ensure the safety and stability of the power network while minimising long-term disruptions.
Citizens are advised to plan their activities accordingly and avoid using sensitive appliances during the affected hours. Also keep emergency lighting, backup power sources, and sufficient water and food supplies ready to minimise inconvenience and ensure smooth day-to-day activities. BESCOM has also asked citizens to stay updated through its official website and social channel for more updates.
