The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has declared a whopping 9 hours of power outage from March 22nd to March 25th. Some of the affected areas are expected to be outside Bengaluru city, such as the Chitradurga region and Kyasamballi, among others. These power outages are planned due to maintenance work.
Power Cut On March 22:

BESCOM announced that from Chitradurga city up to Amritapura Railway Station, a power line work will be carried on the 66/11 kV H.D. Pura, Godabanahal, Chithrahalli, Arasanaghatta, and Chikkajajuru routes. The timing of the power cut could will be from 10 am to 3pm.
Affected Areas On March 22:
H.D. Pura, Talya Kavalu, Upparigenahalli, Budipura, Nallikatte, Talya, Muttighatta, Kereyagalahalli, Chowdagondanahalli, Tekalavatti, B.R. Gudi, Chamundeshwari, Mahadevanakatte, Doddapura, Kakkeru, Hosuru, Junjappamarga, Godabanahal, Annehalu, Vajramarga, Echanghatta, T. Nulenuru, B. Jihalli, Chithrahalli, Mudderu, Shivaganga, Lingadahalli, Keshavapura, Dasayyanahatti, Kondapura.
Also, some of the regions around Anjaneya Temple area, Basaveshwara Temple area, Mekenahatti, Katayyanakere area, Narasimhaswamy Temple (Garaga) - could be impacted.
Further, areas like Arasanaghatta, Garaga Kavalu, Sadarahalli, Chikkandavadi, Karematthi, Chikkanakatte, Chikkahemmiganuru, K.N. Halli, Thanigehalli, Hirekandavadi, Gunjiganuru, Rangavvanahalli, B. Durga, Ayyanahalli, Kaduru, Kotehalu, S.H. Halli, Chikkandavadi, Chikkajajuru, Kavalahatti, Hosahalli, Saveramma, Gunjiganuru, Galimaremma Temple area, and surrounding villages may get impacted.
BESCOM Power Cut From March 23-March 25:
From March 23 to March 25th, BESCOM will carry its one of the longest power cut from 9 am to 6 pm due to a scheduled reconductoring feeder work in the Kyasamballi branch of the Bethamangala sub-division, F-02 HT.
Affected Areas From March 23, March 24, March 25:
Power supply could be impacted in villages connected to F-02, F-03, F-04, F-11, and F-12 feeders of the Kyasamballi branch. Other areas such as Kyasamballi, Parandahalli, Dodda Ponandahalli, Chikka Ponandahalli, Balla, Guttahalli, Kamasamudram (Parts), Nallur, Ramasandra, Sundarapalya and surrounding rural areas may face electricity disruption too.
BESCOM stated that the agriculture pump sets will resume smooth power supply during the night to ensure farming activity.
