BECOM Power Cut Today: Several key areas in districts located near Bengaluru are expected to face a power cut on Monday, March 16, due to maintenance work and other mandatory work by Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited. Residents in Kolar districts who receive power supply from the 66/11 kV Vemagal Substation on feeders F-1, F-2, F-4, F-5, and F-6 may see power supply disruptions between 10 am and 5 pm on Monday.
In an update shared on its social media platform, BESCOM, urged residents to maintain patience and plan accordingly to avoid being stuck for some urgent work during the power outage period.

Talagunda, Bettahosapura, Shettihalli, Narasapura Industrial, Shettihalli, Vemagal, the Industrial Area, and Modihalli villages will be the key areas in Kolar districts to be affected due to power outage today.
"Customers served by the 66/11 kV Vemagal Substation on feeders F-1 and F-2 (Talagunda, Bettahosapura), F-4 (Shettihalli), F-5 (Shivam Auto Tech), and F-6 (Narasapura Industrial) will experience an interruption in power supply on March 16. The notice requests cooperation from residents of Shettihalli, Vemagal, the Industrial Area, and Modihalli villages on these dates during the supply disruption," as per a newspaper clipping shared by BESCOM on Monday, March 16.

Notably, there is no power cut situation prevalent across the metro city regularly. However, certain localities and areas in the city face power outage for limited periods due to various reasons, including BESCOM maintenance work.

People can also use BESCOM Mithra application to raise complaints related to power supply outage. Third way to raise complaints is by social media. BESCOM actively responds to complaints and requests raised on social media platform 'X'.
