Bengaluru Techie Bumps Into Google CEO Sundar Pichai While Walking On Streets Of San Francisco, Here's How

Recently, a bizarre incident with a Bengaluru Techie has helped him grab all the attention on social media. Interestingly, Sid Puri, Head of Growth for Retool in India, suddenly bumped into Google CEO Sundar Pichai while he was walking on the streets of San Francisco. This came to the limelight after Puri shared this experience on X (formerly Twitter). In his social media post, Sid Puri revealed that he was walking down a street when he came across Pichai and managed to get a picture with him. Puri has also shared the image on LinkedIn and X.

Sid's social media post which narrated the incident has gone viral online and the techie has grabbed all the eyeballs following this incident.

The picture showed Google chief Sundar Pichai dressed casually in blue jeans, a jacket, and black sunglasses. Besides, the Google chief does not appear to have any security around him. Although, in the comments section of his post, Puri, confirmed that Pichai was walking with a security guard who clicked their photo.

"Go to SF they said, no one prepared me to just run into Sundar Pichai on the street," Puri wrote while sharing the pic on the microblogging platform.

Puri's LinkedIn post revealed that the picture was taken last week, soon after he landed in San Francisco, US.

The Bengaluru techie shared the post on September 25 (Monday) and since then it has accumulated 784.7K views and nearly 5,239 likes on X at the time of writing this story.

"Wow, he walks without any security??? I am a little happy because he is so simple down to earth, and a little scared for his security at the same time. @sundarpichai," a user wrote.

"Did you tell him about @peakbengaluru?" said another.

Sundar Pichai is the chief executive officer of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google. Pichai joined Google in 2004 as the head of product management and development.
