Bengaluru weather today on July 14 has taken a sharp monsoonal turn after the India Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall across the city for the next seven days. Last weekend downpours in several areas were seen and this week began with a misty morning and a rain-soaked week ahead.
7-Day Bengaluru Weather Forecast
According to IMD data, Bengaluru weather in the next seven days is expected to be rainy and relatively cooler. Here is the forecast for the next seven days as per IMD
July 14, Monday: Residents can expect a generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall. Temperatures will range from 20°C to 30°C. Commutes may be affected, and residents should carry rain gear.
July 15, Tuesday: The cloudy and rainy pattern continues, with slightly cooler conditions. Forecasted temperatures are 20°C minimum and 29°C maximum. High humidity is likely to remain.
July 16, Wednesday: Clouds and moderate rainfall are expected to stay dominant. temperature might range shift, with 20°C to 29°C range. Minor waterlogging possible in low-lying areas.
July 17, Thursday: Identical to previous days, Bengaluru will see cloudy skies and moderate showers. Temperatures stay steady at 20°C-29°C.
July 18, Friday: The IMD predicts simply "rain," possibly heavier or more frequent than earlier in the week. Still, no official weather warning has been issued.

July 19, Saturday: Slight rain may continue. The cool and damp trend persists, with 29°C max and 20°C min temperatures.
Bengaluru Traffic Woes Due To Traffic
After every rainfall, Bengaluru traffic jams are triggered due to waterlogged roads. Among the most impacted are Outer Ring Road near Bellandur, Hosur Road near Madiwala, verannaplaye , hebbal bridge, kadabeesahalli, KR Puram underpass, Shivajinagar, Majestic area, Koramangala & Ejipura,
These areas are prone to poor drainage and blocked stormwater outlets, and even slight rainfall turns into long traffic delays.Commuters are advised to monitor real-time traffic updates and use alternate routes during heavy rainfall hours, especially during morning and evening rush. Office-goers, students, and delivery workers may face frequent disruptions, while those planning outdoor events might want to reschedule or plan indoor alternatives.
It's also wise to charge devices, avoid low-lying roads, and keep umbrellas handy through the week. With no major red alerts yet, the rain is manageable, but it's Bengaluru, and a little caution can go a long way.
