Bisleri International, a leading name in packaged drinking water, reported a significant profit increase of 82.8% in FY24, reaching Rs 316.95 crore. The company's revenue from operations also saw a rise of 14.8%, amounting to Rs 2,689.69 crore, as per its RoC filing. This financial growth marks the highest revenue for Bisleri in the past five years.

The total consolidated revenue for Bisleri International surged by 18.32% to Rs 2,814.04 crore for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. This increase was supported by additional income sources, according to data from Tofler, a business intelligence platform. In comparison, the previous year's profit stood at Rs 173.38 crore with a consolidated revenue of Rs 2,341.98 crore.
Advertising and Expenses
Bisleri's advertising and promotional spending saw a notable rise of nearly 60% in FY24, reaching Rs 100.96 crore compared to Rs 63.22 crore in FY23. The company's total expenses for FY24 amounted to Rs 2,410.92 crore, reflecting an increase of 12.31%. These figures highlight Bisleri's strategic investments in marketing and operational costs.
The tax expense for Bisleri International in FY24 was recorded at Rs 95.79 crore. This financial detail underscores the company's fiscal responsibilities alongside its growth trajectory. The ownership structure of Bisleri remains within the Chauhan family, with Ramesh J Chauhan holding a 54% stake.
Ownership and Market Position
Jayanti R Chauhan owns 33% of Bisleri International, while Zainab R Chauhan holds the remaining 13%, as reported by Tofler. This family-owned business continues to dominate the packaged water market in India, competing with major brands like Coca-Cola's Kinley and PepsiCo's Aquafina.
