Shares of small cap services sector company BLS International Services Ltd witnessed a decline of 2.15% intraday on BSE on Thursday after India suspended issue of visas to Canadian citizens till further notice.
BLS International's website is also carrying a notification that reads, "Important notice from Indian Mission: Due to operational reasons, with effect from 21 September 2023, Indian visa services have been suspended till further notice. Please keep checking BLS website for further updates." The website announced the message on its website at 11:40 am today.

BLS International also issued a BSE filing on September 21 saying, "Due to operation reasons, with immediate effect i.e. 21 September 2023, Indian visa services in Canada have been suspended till further notice. The impact of this move is negligible on our financials as the Canadian visa issuance business contributes less than 2% to BLS International's total annual revenue."
Last trading price of BLS International share is Rs 263.65 apiece on BSE after an intraday fall of 2.15%. Its 52-week high price is quoted at Rs 302.00 per share and 52-week low price is Rs 130.50 per share, respectively. In last 1-week only, BLS International Services shares fell 6.94%, declined 11% in last 2-weeks, and 7.12% in last 1-month as diplomatic relations between India and Canada touched new low over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar
Meanwhile, Ministry of External Affairs are expected to hold its weekly press conference on Thursday at 4 pm.
