School students who appeared in the CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 board examination this year can apply for re-evaluation or re-checking if they are not satisfied with their marks and believe that there is some room for improvement. CBSE board re-evaluation, recounting and re-verification link is expected to open for application anytime soon.
According to reports, the verification window was made active by the CBSE Class 10, 12 exam results declaration. CBSE Board exam results were announced on May 13, hence, the link for revaluation and re-verification was set to become active on May 17.

As per CBSE's new guidelines, Class 10 and 12th students can access the photocopies of their answer sheets after result announcement. This would help them understand their performance and marking scheme in a better fashion and let them decide whether to opt for revaluation or reverification.
After obtaining the photocopy of the marksheet, students can choose either the option of answer sheet revaluation or rechecking. They can also opt for both of the options as per the due procedure, noted CBSE in its official notice.
According to CBSE, re-verification of marks is the posting or totaling of marks or any unevaluated question, whereas revaluation (or re-evaluation) is the reassessment of a question or questions thereof.
"A candidate can apply for either Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both as per due procedure after obtaining photocopy of answer book," read a CBSE notice.
