CBSE Class 12 Result: Overall Pass Percentage At 85.2%, Girls Outperform Boys

The CBSE board recorded an overall pass percentage of 85.2% for Class 12th result examination. A total of 18,57,517 students registered for the examination across 19,967 schools and 7,573 centres across the world.

Girls outperformed boys as their passing percentage stood at 88.86%, whereas passing percentage of boys stood at 82.13%. Transgender students had a 100% pass percentage for CBSE Class 12th result, as per Indian Express report.

Trivandrum has emerged as the top performing region with a pass percentage of 95.62%, followed by Chennai at 93.84%. Bengaluru region stood at 3rd position with 93.19%. Vijaywada, Delhi West and Delhi East stood at fourth, fifth and sixth position with 92.77%, 92.34%, and 91.73%.
