The Vicky Kaushal-Rashmika Mandanna starrer historical movie has touched milestone on its opening day. Not only becoming the best opener of 2025 so far, Chhaava is less than Rs 3 crore away from hitting the Rs 50 crore club. Its worldwide gross collection has crossed Rs 47 crore on Day 1. Chhaava hit theatres on February 14, 2025, on the occasion of Valentine's Day. Also, Chhaava has become Vicky Kaushal's best opening of his career so far.
Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 1:
Data from Sacnilk showed that on its first day, Chaavva bagged Rs 31 crore net collection in India.
But its gross collection in India stood at Rs 37.25 crore, while its overseas collection came in around Rs 10 crore on Day 1. Taking into consideration the two, Chhaava's Day 1 worldwide collection on a gross basis, stood at Rs 47.25 crore.
Chhaava had an overall 42.02% Hindi Occupancy on Friday.
Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 2:
With the movie still receiving strong response from movie lovers on Saturday, February 15, it is expected to cross the Rs 60 crore mark on Day 2 as net in India.
The Sacnilk data showed that so far on the second day, Chhaava bagged up to Rs 7.61 crore India net collection for all languages.

About Chhaava:
The film takes in the aftermath of Chattrapati Shivaji Raze's death. As the news reaches the Mughal court the advisers of Aurangzeb rejoice citing the imminent disintegration of the resistance led by Shivaji Raze.Aurangzeb laments on the death of a worthy opponent but issues firman for celebration. Unbeknownst to them the mantle of Maratha leadership has already been taken up by a capable warrior Sambhaji, as per Wikipedia.
Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj while the leading actress role of Yesubai Bhonsale is played by Rashmika Mandanna. Notably, after a leap of years, Akshaye Khanna makes a comeback with the rival role Aurangzeb.
