The action-packed multi-starrer Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures, has made a significant impact at the Indian box office over its 13-day run. Featuring a powerhouse cast that includes Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Aamir Khan, Shruthi Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj and Soubin Shahir, the film continues to hold its ground despite a sharp decline in weekday collections.

On August 26, 2025 (Day 13), the film still managed modest footfalls in South Indian states despite its declining trend. The Tamil 2D occupancy during morning shows was 12.39%, reflecting a typical weekday pattern after the initial hype.

In the Hindi-speaking regions, the occupancy was lower at 6.86%, suggesting reduced interest and possible saturation. Meanwhile, the Telugu version performed slightly better with 13.69% morning occupancy, likely aided by the presence of actor Nagarjuna in the cast.

Coolie had a strong start at the box office, earning Rs 65 crore on Day 1, driven largely by Tamil Nadu collections. Over the next few days, the film saw a gradual decline with Rs 54.75 crore on Day 2, Rs 39.5 crore on Day 3 and Rs 35.25 crore on Day 4, supported by weekend footfalls. However, weekday collections dropped significantly, with Rs 12 crore on Day 5, Rs 9.5 crore on Day 6, and Rs 7.5 crore on Day 7, wrapping up the first week with a solid total despite the steady dip in daily earnings.
The collections dipped again during the weekdays, with Rs 2.52 crore on Day 12 (Monday) and a sharp fall to just Rs 0.28 crore on Day 13 (Tuesday), signaling that the film is nearing the end of its theatrical run. As of Day 13, Coolie's total India net collection stood at Rs 260.15 crore.
In its first week, Coolie amassed a total collection of Rs 229.65 crore, with the highest contribution from the Tamil version at Rs 149.95 crore, followed by Telugu at Rs 51.6 crore, Hindi at Rs 26.05 crore, and Kannada at Rs 2.05 crore.
The film's second-week performance started on a slower note, earning Rs 6.15 crore on Day 8 (Thursday) and Rs 5.85 crore on Day 9 (Friday). However, the weekend brought a temporary boost, with Rs 10.5 crore on Day 10 (Saturday) and Rs 11.35 crore on Day 11 (Sunday), showing signs of renewed audience interest.
