Leading aerospace and defence technology company Apollo Micro Systems Limited (AMS) has announced the expansion of its weapon integration facilities in Hyderabad. Plot Nos. 4 and 5, totaling 22,988 square meters at TSIIC, Hardware Park Phase II, Hyderabad, have been granted to Apollo Micro Systems Ltd. at a cost of Rs 12,000 per square meter. Rs 27,58,56,000 is the total consideration for the purchase of the aforementioned land.

With an estimated investment of about Rs 30,000 lakhs, the company plans to undertake capital expenditure for the development of the aforementioned site into an integrated facility for the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of Weapon System Platforms, including Grad Rockets, Anti-Submarine Warfare Rockets, Anti-Tank Mines, Artillery Munitions, and other similar products.
"This expansion aligns with the Company's long-term growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to enhancing indigenous manufacturing capabilities, strengthening technological innovation, and supporting the growing demand in the defence sector," said Apollo Micro Systems in a stock exchange filing.

This strategic investment, adjoining to our Unit 3, will expand the total facility to approximately 10.68 acres within a single campus and enable us to establish a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the manufacturing of Weapon Systems and artillery Systems like Grad Rockets, Anti-Tank Mines, Anti-Submarine Warfare Rockets, and similar products."
