Forecasters said this Delhi rainfall activity may signal a change towards cooler conditions for early April.
Delhi Rainfall Today Due To Western Disturbance
As per experts, the short episode of Delhi rainfall was due to western disturbance moving across the western Himalayas. The system created a cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan and neighbouring Punjab and Haryana. As per media reports citing weather experts, the interaction is driving moisture and instability that favours cloud formation and scattered showers across the National Capital region.

Not just Delhi, people can witness mild rainfall across citiies in Punjab and Haryana for the next two days. The recent rainfall in Delhi could be one of the first pre-monsoon activity in the region, which arrived nearly 10 days earlier than the long-term average due to high temperature, reported Economic Times citing Mahesh Palawat, Vice President of Meteorology and Climate Change at Skymet Weather.
