Desi girl Priyanka Chopra and hubby Nick Jonas vacated their dream home in Los Angeles after it became ""virtually unlivable" as reported by Page Six. They have been living there since 2019 after water damage in the property reportedly caused mold infestation. The high-profile couple is now embroiled in a legal battle with the seller of their dream home.
According to reports, the damage in the property made it ""dangerous from a health perspective to occupy."
The LA mansion of Priyanka and Nick has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, home theatre, wine cellar, bowling alley, spa and steam shower, gym, and a billiards room among others. The couple purchased it for a whopping $20 million in 2019.

According to the lawsuit, filed in May 2023, the pool and spa starting causing issues soon after the purchase. The waterproofing issues in the premises caused "fostered mold contamination and related issues." The complaint also said that around the same time, there was another water leak in the barbecue area on the deck, as per the Page Six report.
Chopra and Jonas are seeking "consequential damages." As per Page Six report, the lawsuit, "In the alternative, plaintiff should be reimbursed for all costs of repair, plus compensation for the loss of use and other damages caused by defendants' conduct." The report suggests that the cost of repairing the property will exceed $1.5 million, and could go up to $2.5 million (approx Rs 13 to 20 crores).
Reports state that Priyanka, Nick and their daughter Malti Marie shifted to another property until their home is repaired. Priyanka and Nick travel all across the world for their work but are based out of Los Angeles.
Recently, Nick was in India along with his band, Jonas Brothers, as they performed here for the first time. Nick, Kevin and Joe performed at Lollapalooza India where the crowd chanted 'Jiju' as they welcomed Nick on the stage. The singer-songwriter also performed with King to their collaboration 'Maan Meri Jaan'.
